F. D. Roosevelt, T. Roosevelt, Our Indirect and Direct Ancestors

In this post, we come back to the Grant family line, Susannah Delano and her husband Noah Grant Jr.

According to the research regarding our family tree, we are indirectly related via Susannah (Delano) Grant to Mr. Franklin Delano Roosevelt. The latter one was Susannah's cousin four times removed.

Susanna was married to Noah Grant Jr. who was a great-nephew of Josiah Grant (1669/1732). And Josiah was the husband of Miss Rebecca (Minor) Grant, our cousin seven times removed (whom I have already mentioned in the POST related to Mr. Hiram Ulysses Grant and the Grant/Minor family tree branch).

The above relation sounds quite complicated and it is indeed far. However, there is also another family connection which leads from Noah Grant Jr. to our direct ancestors. It is easier to follow that when it is described person by person.
